For the launch of TomTom’s new Automotive Navigation Application, I was deeply involved in the full production cycle — from pre-production through to post-production — of all video assets created for the marketing campaign. These materials were designed to introduce and promote the product to potential customers, partners, and OEMs.
The TomTom Automotive Navigation Application is a next-generation in-vehicle navigation solution, built for seamless integration into modern car infotainment systems — particularly those running Android Automotive OS. It combines TomTom’s industry-leading Orbis maps and real-time traffic data with a clean, intuitive interface, allowing automakers to deploy rich, fully-featured navigation experiences in their vehicles in as little as 12 weeks, with extensive customization possibilities.
My involvement began in the role of Art Director (Video, Photo & Motion), where I created early rough storyboards, contributed creative concepts during brainstorming sessions, attended all interview shoots while providing on-set direction, and advised on the visual approach for b-roll footage. Later in the project, I took on the position of lead video editor, producing initial draft edits that eventually evolved into a concise launch/promotional video, a short newsletter video, and a full mini-documentary film showcasing the Automotive Navigation Application.
